Christmas Holidays – time to relax and unwind?

Nope!

Time to get on with another video for “Sheila Joynes Teaches Music Theory”! This time it’s not a module relevant to just one particular Grade or Level, but a complete explanation of Major and Minor keys, Scales, Key Signatures and that mysterious concept, the Circle of Fifths.

Stephen has come up with some fantastic graphics (including a round piano keyboard) and the whole programme lasts for 32 minutes.

I did manage to do some other musical things in the holiday as well – playing the organ in Eckington and Ripple Churches, and playing the double bass for Prince Henry’s High School and Worcester Youth Orchestra concerts – AND I did some housework and cataloguing of CDs and DVDs!
